| - I was recently in Toronto from NYC for the NXNE music festival. My friends and I stayed at the Delta Chelsea for two nights. The hotel itself is nice and clean, as well as the rooms. The TV in the room was SO outdated though! I was actually shocked! The room, while modern and clean, was a lot smaller than i was really expecting.
I didn't try any of the eating establishments nor did I utilize the lounge areas.
Like other people, I got my room from Hotwire for $60 a night.
Be aware that parking is nearly $30/night after taxes. If you're driving in, I'd try to find a closer, cheaper parking area. ALSO- take note that phone calls from the room, even if they are local, are $1.75 a pop. Because none of us wanted to pay international roaming fees, we called another local hotel where friends were staying from our room and found a bill awaiting us at checkout for the price of all the calls. The attendant was kind enough to drop the charges, but still... really?? It was a local call!
I wouldn't really recommend this place, with hidden fees and all.
