  • I love it when hotels don't offer a breakfast bar: it means I get to try a local diner. This is one of the good ones: easy to find and park, friendly service, great food with a number of specialty breakfasts. (I had the Greek, with gyro meat.) Some places are too chic or too crowded. Bay Diner really has bona fides as a no-fuss, short-order, home-cookin' place. Next time I'll try to stop by on Thursday for chicken paprikash.
