| - Dr. Parker & his staff are the best at what they do. If you are considering plastic surgery or any other cosmetic procedures (such as cool sculpting, botox, facials, etc) than I highly recommend getting a free consultation with them. You will not be disappointed! I did my research and had more than one consultation with other surgeons. However, Dr. Parker's perfectionism and impeccable bed side manner really stood out to me. (I have worked in health care for 10+ years and have not met quite anyone like him!) Not to mention having a team of caring women working along side him.
BA Consultation
For my consultation I had called right before Christmas so due to holiday season I waited to do my consult until just after the new year. I was seen by Dr. Parker only, there is no assistant. He does however have a female in the room with him at all times which I love! It not only makes the situation more comfortable, but is just a smart move in general. (By no means did I ever feel uncomfortable around Dr. Parker, just saying in general it's nice that he cares about his patient's experiences) I believe I was at the office for about 2 hours. I had a lot of questions and they took the time to make sure they were all answered. I briefly discussed what I wanted my end results to be, however, this gets done in more detail at your pre-op appointment. Let me note that I was completely open to suggestions from Dr. Parker and left my trust in his hands to do what was best for my shape and body. I scheduled my surgery about 2 weeks after my initial consult.
BA Pre Op
3 weeks before surgery I met again with Dr. Parker to go over every little thing I needed to know including details on preparation for surgery, what to expect day of surgery, and post op care. I met with Jennifer as well to sign my documents, take pre-op photos, get lab orders, & prescriptions.
BA Surgery
The day of surgery was rough for me, I personally did not handle it well. I was in pain and emotional. However, Dr. Parker himself called my sister that night to check in on me. Staff at the surgery center were excellent and Dr. Parker himself was a perfectionist as usual. I think he re did his markings 3 times before beginning my procedure -- which I absolutely loved! I think it's important to find someone who is truly passionate at what they do. He wants nothing but the best for his patients.
BA After Care
I'm currently 7 weeks post op and couldn't be happier. I have had small bumps in the road, but nothing serious. I've been going for weekly follow ups. Dr. Parker and his staff were on top of everything that needed to be done. It is important to remember everyone's body is different and each person will have their own unique healing process. I don't regret a single thing and I'm so happy that I trusted him with my end results. I will probably shed a few tears when I no longer need to go in for follow ups!
