Las Glorias is still the best Mexican meal I've had in Phoenix. The construction is a distant memory and there's a gleaming new light rail stop, right across the street (that seemingly no one uses, hah). But maybe they should, because the complementary chips with salsa and beans intro is always popular. Their tortilla soup is banging. Spinach enchiladas, still amazing. Our party enjoyed an open faced cheese crisp, made from a tortilla as big as the sky above. PRO TIP: put salsa on the cheese crisp. It's certainly not the fanciest place, at the end of the meal, the way to pay is at a register. And the menu can be too big. But if you order carefully, it's legit.
