While I love the ginger molasses cookies (chewy inside and topped with sugar) and the triple ginger coffee cake (moist but not sticky), but there is always at least one staff member who treats customers with disdain.
While I have not been on the receiving end such appalling service, witnessing several such incidents over 6+ visits, is uncomfortable and clearly indicates that this kind of apalling behaviour is condoned by the owner(s).
When asked for a bakery recommendation, who wants to say "The cakes are really good, but the staff can be quite rude."? And to the counter staff, may I suggest a career change (or at the very least, b*tching about customers in the back where they can't hear you.)
