I was buying a commercial property and I needed the building inspected as well as environmental studies. I had been calling around getting proposals. Since the property was located in a environmental low risk area it was suggested to me I could just get a historical record analysis. If that showed any red flags then I would need an ets or phase one study. The historical records analysis was going to cost around $500. The property condition report proposals were all coming in at over $1000. I found target inspections. The environmental records review was INCLUDED in his report and his property condition report (inspection) at a thousand dollars less than the competitors!
I wasn't impressed just because he was offering a better deal (tho that was pretty impressive) but he was able to come out to do the inspection quickly and Ben was just so knowledgable! For instance He could tell by looking at the building materials if asbestos samples needed to be taken. For things that he wasn't an expert on like wells (yes there was one found on my property) he gave me referrals to people who could help me. Long story short, I'm impressed. I will definitely be recommending and using Ben and target Inspections for all my future inspection needs!
