| - My first visit with Dr.Tal & staff was very pleasant.
Tuesday was totally different. Joanna was going to have me come in Mon but not a crown prep. Had to come back because they didn't have time. I told her I didn't want to waste an appt. She called back with a Tues. opening. Dr. Dan is as nice as his brother. He said they always take 2 appts. I was upset. He said he would talk to Joanna. He got me in the next day with Tal.
When I checked out the girl was very indignant. Said they don't show me prices from my plan. Call them. I said they don't know what each provider charges. I know from the past AND I have price lists from others. I wanted to check what I was told in Dec; that their prices are less than with my plan. Of course today that was all wrong. Cleaning is now $153 with my plan, $69 or $89 with theirs.
She said I could talk to the ins. girl. After I sat for sometime in the waiting room a woman called me. She said she understands about money, " I am a single mother to". I said, "I am not a single mother, I am retired". She told me to get the prices from my ins.; she has been in the dental field for 27 years & knows it all. I told her it is like a menu, you like to know prices so you know what it costs, except in fancy expensive restaurants that have nothing listed.
She pulled up my chart on her pc & told me I had xrays. I said I didn't. She insisted I did & kept asking me & I kept saying I didn't. I said I am losing trust.
She said no one can diagnose without xrays. I said he did. I had cancer & don't need extra radiation. He agreed that I need a crown which is what I came for. He said it was a good break, just the cusp, didn't damage the nerve, best break I could have.
Why do I have the treatment plan if he couldn't diagnose without an exray?
She called in Desiree who confirmed what I told her, I didn't have xrays!!
She said he will take them next time. I said he didn't say that to me. The tech left. The lunatic started yelling at me. She said I have to have trust. She told me to leave & never come back. She said I missed out. I said no I didn't. I told her who my crown specialist is. I simply liked Tal & they are much closer to me. I told her everyone is different here today. She said they are the same people. I said the one last time told me her birthday is Jan. 18. This nut case said they have days off. I said ok. She got right in my face when I stood up to leave.
I wasn't going to speak to such an unreasonable, rude person anymore. She clearly has issues.
I asked if I can have my water & reached for it. I asked her name. Josephine she said.
I have NEVER been treated like that ANYWHERE EVER!
She is not a good representative for anyone, let alone professionals.
