  • I've been to Mac's twice for lunch and had a great experience both times. On my first visit I dragged the lunch crew from work with me and we all had a good experience. I tried the special, which was the honey-kissed fried chicken, served with homemade mac 'n cheese with slaw. The chicken was amazing! I have to say, the portion they served was huge! I didn't eat dinner after putting this meal down. On the second visit I had Mac's Fish Sandwich. This is a nice alternative to the typical breaded and fried fish patties you are probably used to. Worth trying. Service was great on both visits. The staff was very friendly and quick to take our orders, delivering our food without issues - like some other reviewers have reported. On one of my next lunch visits I need to try one of their burgers. I've heard nothing but good things about them from everyone else and menu offers a lot of different options. A happy hour may also be in my near future here. They have a really nice selection of beers and drinks to pick from.
