  • Many people chose Budget over other car rentals because it's "cheaper". But the bill you'll get afterwards for so called damage that needs to be repaired will show that it's not worthy to go with Budget. Around a month after our trip we received a bill for repairing the car for $700+ (while we rented it for ~$200-300). There were some photos attached to the letter that show "damage" on the car. However, we could not see anything...not even a scratch. We suspect that this Budget is being dishonest and we have opened a case with the credit card insurance company. Hope to settle this asap. The news about some drivers got ripped off by Budget for unreasonable repair charges isn't unheard of.
