  • I drive twenty minutes too get to Ultra Nail Bar, and in a world where nail salons are more ubiquitous than Starbucks, that is saying something! If you are wanting a dip powder manicure, Ultra Nail Bar is THE place to go in Charlotte. Definitely set aside plenty of time because it is not a quick procedure, but it looks AMAZING and lasts a FULL MONTH. Otherwise, Ultra Nail Bar is clean, I have never had to wait without an appointment, and they have a cool point system that lets you earn discounts on your services. You earn 1 point for every $1 spent, and every 100 points redeemed gets you $5 off. You can also earn 100 points for every person you refer, for liking them on Facebook, etc. Ultra Nail Bar is great for getting together with friends. They offer mimosas, wine, and sodas, and have two cute butterfly pedicure chairs for little girls. They offer quite a selection of pedicures starting at $25, as well as regular, shellac or gel, and dip powder (powdered acrylic) manicures. They also offer acrylic, pink and white, and crazy designs if that is your thing. There is a huge selection of colors and they use OPI, Essie and other types of nail polish. The menu also features waxing services, although I cannot vouch for the quality since I haven't tried. For consistent quality and comfort, check out Ultra Nail Bar. You won't regret it!
