| - I took the two kids to the new aquarium one weekend so we could see the fish. It was $53 to get in + $3.00 to park. After 25 minutes, we saw everything and were thinking, 'That's all?' The fish were small, but I'm sure they'll get bigger over time. There were some full grown sharks, but not much else that was fully grown. The kids got to pet a few small aquatic creatures just before feeding time.
I'd recommend this aquarium for those who have not visited before, but once you've been there, you may not go back. I wish it were bigger. I wish they would have taken then entire Power House and made it into the aquarium. Instead, they only used the basement.
We weren't allowed to take our stroller into the aquarium. This is only a rule on certain days. The desk clerk offered to leave it outside the aquarium in the public atrium where it could be stolen. I said, "Can't I keep it here at the front desk?" She said, "Sure." Twenty-five minutes later, I cam back for my stroller, but the front doors were locked so I couldn't get back in. I had to wait for someone to come out the exit and then walk all the way back through the aquarium to get my stroller.
There were a lot of young biology/zoology types standing around offering information about various fish.
It's just okay.
