  • I have flown with Allegiant at least a dozen times mainly due to the price. Obviously they are the cheapest around and have some great deals, but I'm not reviewing the price. In fact, price alone is what warrants the two stars. If not for the cheap airfare, I would argue that Allegiant deserves zero stars for service. Their customer service absolutely blows. The planes are filthy and the flights NEVER leave on time. In fact, I am writing this review right now as I'm sitting on an airplane that is 2 hours late and still hasn't left the tarmac because of a "computer problem". I'm absolutely starving and the chances that a complementary snack to compensate for the crap service is next to zero. Seriously, if you can afford to avoid them, I highly recommend it. If not, just be prepared to get bent over and brutally violated with terrible service, outrageous baggage fees, and filthy airplanes. Edit: We waited on that plane for 2 hours before we started to move, not to mention that the pilots were late coming from another flight. As I guessed, no complimentary drinks or snacks were given, it was like being held hostage. Not to mention that it took about an hour for us to get our checked bags off the plane, but that could be more of an airport problem rather than an Allegiant one.
