| - Took advantage of the Restaurant Week deals to try Hearthstone. The interior of the restaurant wasn't what I expected, but I liked it. I thought it would be darker, and maybe a little stuffy, but it was actually bright and open. The staff was very nice and professional. I started with the Apple & Quinoa Salad, which was delicious! From the Restaurant Week menu, I ordered the Crispy Calamari, the Hanger Steak, and the Glazed Donut Bread Pudding for dessert. The calamari didn't really have much flavor, and the sauces that came with it, didn't do much to change that. The Hanger Steak was good, but the temperature of the meat seemed a little cold when it was brought to the table. The fries that came with it were also good, and paired well with the steak. I'm not really a fan of bread pudding, but I thought this would be better since it was a glazed donut bread pudding. Not really much better. Softer than typical bread puddings, but still sucks all of the moisture from your mouth. The flavor wasn't bad, but it's still bread pudding. It was also better than the other choice, which was the Nutella Pizza. Tried a little of that, and that wasn't very exciting either. All in all, I enjoyed my experience, but it not enough to give it the extra star or two. I'll have to come back and try some different items, then perhaps I will update my review.
