3.5/5 I've been meaning to stop by here for a while. Finally did last weekend when they had their first anniversary special thing happening. it was $25 for a dozen cupcakes - but they had so many flavours. Ferror Rocher (they have a nutella filling INSIDE the cake too!) , triple chocolate, vanilla, creme brulee, french toast, salted caramel, lemon meringue etc.
the shop is cute, small and nicely decorated. The staff is friendly and are happy to recommend flavours.
The cupcake itself is good. The cake is moist - not at all dry or crumbly. Now the icing is where it gets a little hmm. I'm partial to a swiss meringue buttercream -which is what this bakery frosts with I believe. However, these frostings are a little tricky and sometimes too much butter can be added making it super buttery. Its good but a little heavy on the butter frosting. I hope they work out the kinks in the frosting recipe but it look's good so far.
