My girlfriend is a foodie! I've always had an extreme love for food, but since this union, in my mind I've become a food critic as a good meal really depends on how the rest of our night will go lol. We're both moody ppl when hungry or when left disappointed. We had a 6hr drive ahead of us and decided to stop at this here after making one prior attempt which didn't happen because the place was PACKED and reservations were closed. So! Food was alright. I think I expected a little more seeing how busy this place is. My girlfriend and I had the fish tacos to start which were awesome. Her main was the k-town beef ribs which were so good! However could've been cooked just a little bit more as beef ribs are normally very fatty, so cooking at rare makes its it hard to eat. My main was the fried chicken and Johnny cakes which I wasn't a big fan of. I mean ... the fried chicken was good, the johnny cakes were like a corn bread pancake which I like, but I probably would've preferred my coleslaw on the side instead of on the top and the honey I didn't like very much! Service was good and our waiter/bartender SUPER knowledgeable on each item on the menu.
