  • I went to this brewery yesterday and I was not disappointed although there are a few things I'd like to point out. 1. Location. On their website it says it's located at Gibson Mill which is pretty large. If you're coming from the direction downtown Concord there's no signs on the road so I actually had to ask and employee where to find it (it's in the back on Gibson Mill). 2. The price of drinks. I ordered the Cotton Blonde Ale and it was $5.50 per beer, they said beers were more expensive because the UNC game was on but that was the price of beer the entire day. 3. Ordering process for food is odd. When you first walk into the building there is an employee sitting at a table, she has a small menu of items to choose from( the menu was difficult to read and there were several items scratched off the menu) The price for food was not cheap at all, I ordered the smoked sausage and it was around $11. You tell her what you would like to order, she gives you a ticket and then you have to keep checking with her to see when it's ready (pretty inconvenient) 4. The food was just OK. I ordered the smoked sausage and have to say, it wasn't worth $11. The presentation and flavors were odd. They slice up sausages and put them on tortillas and cover them with a spicy slaw. These were incredible messy to eat as tortillas don't really hold anything in. So for smoked sausage and one beer it was $16.50. That's pretty steep, they're definitely going to have to lower their prices a bit. 5. The parking and seating were both more than enough, although not a fan of picnic benches outside on the patio because it forces you to sit with random people. Smaller tables would be a better way to go. Overall it wasn't too bad, the beers tasted pretty good and were very strong. If I go again, I probably won't order food just a few beers, rather get Taco Bell on the way there and save $10.
