  • I am so happy to have a good bakery in the area. I have driven some pretty crazy distances for good food, so it's nice to save on gas since I spend so dang much on ridiculous amounts of baked goods. First of all, I don't like chocolate cake. It's always dry and just too much. I decided to try the Reese's cupcake one day and... I felt so dirty. That freaking cupcake was SO good. When you bite it, it loves you back, right in the mouth hole. I am tearing up just thinking about it [deep sigh]. All of the other varieties are excellent as well, but if you can convert me, you won my heart. The owners are really friendly and and the place is absolutely beautiful inside. I even hung around long enough one day to find out that they use some pretty special ingredients from all over the world. Not to forget the other goodies.... the salted chocolate chip cookies are out of this world. I don't even know why I tried it, but I do not regret that decision. They have a lemon and blueberry macaron that will have you tweaking until they open the doors the next day, and....my hand hurts. Just go....but go early. They sell out frequently and when they do, there is no one there to dry your tears.
