I brought my 2-year-old labrador retriever to the Furshire for an overnight stay when I was in Arizona for a quick vacation. I've never boarded my dog and I was worried about leaving her alone for the first time. I have seen other boarding facilities, so I had an idea on my head of what to expect, and the Furshire is completely different. I was really happy about a few things: they had a pool (my dog loves to swim), they only boarded the dogs in crates when they needed to eat or clean the facility, and they asked me where I wanted my dog to sleep (I chose a bedroom). I also loved the employees, who were energetic and seemed to love their jobs. They were kind enough to email me pictures of Payton having fun while I was away from her, and when I picked her up the next day, she was happier & healthier than ever.
If I could change one thing, it would be the number of dogs that they had there. They indicated that they had about 50 dogs and there was only 3 or 4 employees. It seemed like a lot of dogs for such a small place, but it didn't seem to affect my dog's stay at all. She clearly was well taken care of and had a lot of fun. I go back to Arizona about twice a year and I'll absolutely bring my dog back.
