| - First off, our cleaning "professional" was over an hour late. I booked the appointment for 12 sharp and she arrived at 1:15. It was first requested to be rescheduled for 12:30 instead which I was fine with, and then about an hour before noon I received a call and a text message saying she could not make it from her current location in Toronto to my home in brampton in time, so then informed me that 1:15 is the time she would arrive. Prior to arriving she informed me of the hassle of using the public transit and carrying a vacuum around and asked if I have one available for use, which I agreed she could use ours, however she also did not have a mop/swifter available to clean our floors (she ended up using ours) and also did not have any swifter pads or another product to clean the floor with (which was also used from us), I believe this is very unprofessional. Otherwise, some highlights of the cleaning was that the downstairs bathroom and entertainment room were done very well, however as the hours passed it seemed to get more and more sloppy of a job. The carpet upstairs were good but the stairs were not vacuumed well, or possibly some of them not done at all. I was slightly mortified by the kitchen as it looked like it had barely been touched, and the recycling wasn't taken out, however the dishes were all cleared away. In the living room and in the bedrooms there was still dust everywhere, on bookshelves, tv stands, bed posts, and the fireplace, etc. The bathroom floor upstairs still had hair on the floor and in corners. The bathtub was done well on the inside but the top corners of the tub weren't done. The faucets were not cleaned or wiped, and all the light switches had water/cleaner spots of residue dried on them. The back of the sink was also left with a small pool of water behind it which eventually dried up and left water rings. She also missed emptying one of our garbage cans upstairs, and left our vacuum in the middle of the hallway, un-emptied and cords not wrapped but instead halfhazardly left all over the vacuum. Additionally, one major issue was that she completely missed one of our bedrooms. We have a three bedroom house, two bedrooms located on the upper floor and one downstairs, which I confirmed with her when she first came over that there was a bedroom downstairs that needed cleaning as well, in the end she said she didn't have time to do it. I specifically ensured I purchased your longest cleaning (4 hours) so that I wouldn't encounter an issue with things not being finished. Considering it took our cleaning professional 4 hours to only finish two bathrooms and two bedrooms and other common areas, this is extremely disappointing and frustrating. We previously had a 2 hour cleaning service weekly for many years therefore I'm well aware of what can and should be done in the amount of time giving during a cleaning service. I've also never previously been asked to provide supplies, and our past cleaning companies have always finished my home top to bottom (including basement bedroom) with no problems. I was recently in the market for a home cleaning service again which is why I decided to try Handy out, however after this experience I'm very doubtful in this company's ability to provide me with a good cleaning service, or even a mediocre one for that matter. This was a terrible job
