  • Oh sweet Sweet Indulgence, thank you thank you for coming back! Yes people, this place has officially reopened as of December 2009, yay! And yes, their desserts are still as delicious as ever. My friends and I drove out here after a particularly demoralizing exam (which fortunately resulted in a less than demoralizing grade, but how was I supposed to know that walking out of two and a half hours of pathology torture? =P), where I consoled myself with a fruit tart and a strawberry cream cupcake. The fruit tart is still probably the best fruit tart in the area, and the strawberry cream cupcake...oh, the strawberry cream cupcake! As we salivated with indecision in front of the rows and rows of desserts, the very patient server offhandedly mentioned that they had just baked fresh cupcakes with strawberry cream, real strawberries, and chocolate slivers, and would we be interested in those? Um yes, yes we would be interested in those, and yes, they were indeed as delicious as described. Sweet Indulgence, aka Christine's dessert fix, thank you so much for coming back!
