  • I booked a flight with your airline for the first time ever and it was the worst flight experience of my life. It began when I received an email that our flight was delayed from 9:40 pm to 10:59 pm. We arrived at sky harbor airport at 8:30 and checked in. I specifically asked the supervisor if the flight was still delayed and he confirmed that it was still scheduled to arrive at sky harbor at 10:59 pm. Me and my friend waited in the airport, periodically checking the monitors to check our flight status and the time remained 10:59. We proceeded to go through security at 10 pm so we had an hour before the flight. We got to the gate and the monitor behind the counter still had our flight number on it and the time again still said 10:59. There was not a spirit attendant anywhere near the gate and we could not find any staff to talk to. We had to walk back to the security check point and request someone to come up to the spirit gate. The supervisor that checked us in came in and we asked him where our flight was and he got defensive, stating that he apparently told us that our flight was on time and not delayed although me and my friend both heard quite the opposite. Because of this we missed our flight and wasted 5 hours sitting at the airport. We had no way to get home. We had also booked a hotel reservation for 200$ but because we could not make it in time and had no idea our flight was on time, we were charged and were not able to cancel. I called the spirit company to check on our flight status as well before the supervisor talked to us and the woman on the phone assured me that the flight was still delayed to 10:59 even though it has already departed. The supervisor was extremely rude and unapologetic. He was yelling at us that it was our fault that we did not go through security when we arrives here at 8. He told us we would have to go on the next flight which is not until tomorrow morning. We walked down to the counter that only had 2 employess working and waited in line for another 30 minutes. When we got to the counter the woman asked how she can help us and I started to explain and she completely cut me off and said that the supervisor already told her and she completely ignored me whenever I tried to talk. She put us on the next flight without even asking if that was what we wanted. I was asking her for her supervisors name and she hesitated to give it to me. The supervisors name was gargar sayad and he gave the worst customer service I have ever seen. The woman at the counters name was leilani and she was as rude and unapologetic as her supervisor was. I am so shocked that there was no announcement or update on the monitors that our flight was coming at an earlier time. We waited here for a total of 5 hours for nothing. I am never booking with this airline again if this is the type of people your company employs. These people treated me with no respect and were extremely rude.
