AMC is my go to movie theater in the area. A) it's the best option we have and B) it's the closest to my apartment in Greenfield.
It has its positives of course: decent food, reserved seats, tech friendly in terms of using its app or fandango to purchase and pickup tickets.
But it also has its negatives. Mainly, the espresso and coffee area near the ticket office is never staffed. Maybe you'd get more people looking for those items if you had someone even standing behind the counter. Also, the cost of a drink at the bar on the upper level is quite literally outrageous!
And what's with this Dine-In status? It's quite frankly, BS. I haven't seen a way to order food from my seat yet; which is what dine-in is. While I enjoy the menu of items upstairs, it takes way to long to order food. It's not white clear what the protocol is for ordering. If I wait at the host stand, I'd be waiting forever for a table. If I sit myself, I'd wait forever for a server/nonexistent/not employed wait staff. And if I sat at the bar, it takes forever to get served because there's never more than one bartender at a time.
Regardless of all these critiques, I'll continue to come here. Mainly for convenience though.
