I will say that I would give negative stars if I could. The fact that this company was sent by American Home Shield Warranty is not something I can dispute. I will be contacting them to let them know that this company needs to be removed from their service.
I was told by the technician that he was not able to complete the work order at the time because we was not sure that the warranty was going to cover the repair and cleaning of the drier. I completely understood this and was pretty sure he was right about that assumption based on what I could see the problem being. As I was finishing up the check writing, Rangel, the tech, stated that he would have the company contact the warranty and then determine an estimate of the repair. He also stated the $75.00 i was paying now would be applied to the final repair and cleaning. I said, "OK...just let me know so I can get it done."
Today, I was contacted by the company to say that the final estimate was $135.00 and that I needed to pay that before the work could be completed. I explained that I was told I would be paying the difference between the estimate and the $75.00 I had already paid. She basically called me a liar by telling me that the technician never told me that. I was transferred to Sylvia who then told me that the VENT also needed to be cleaned and that they don't do that kind of work so I could go somewhere else. Very unprofessional not to complete a job and to imply a customer is lying.
Basically, this company does not do business the right way. I will be filing a complaint with American Home Shield and the Better Business Bureau.
DO NOT ALLOW THEM TO COME TO YOUR HOUSE!!! If American Home Shield wants to send them ask for another company.
