I was happy to hear that Discount Tire fixes Nails in tread for free... But, I wasn't too happy when they finished, and part of my rim was chewed up. I immediately came back into the store and had someone come look at it and he did immediately offer to replace it but I have to wait a couple days for the rim to be ordered. It's not like I drive a brand new Camaro with thousand-dollar rims, but that's beside the point; they shouldn't be causing damage while fixing unrelated damage. I understand that things happen it was probably an accident but had I left and not checked first they probably would have argued with me about replacing it... and then i noticed that the tire they worked on, which all my tires have GREEN caps indicating that helium/nitrogen is to be used *based from what I was told from the person i purchased the vehicle from*, that GREEN cap was removed and replaced with a black cap. when i called and asked why, they did indicate they only have air which they should have notified me when i was there instead of not telling me, then throwing out my GREEN cap so now hopefully they will find it and keep it aside for when i come in for my rim replacement. so heads up to others, ALWAYS check your tires/rims before you leave the store! dont take their word for it and not look, because things happen and if you end up leaving before checking over their work it could become a huge ordeal to have it corrected
