  • Not too happy. They sold me a 2004 BMW R1150RS which has many known problems and frequent failures, which are very costly to repair, with the EVO brake system, the clutch and the rear drive. I was not told about the possibility of "RESIDUAL BRAKING FUNCTION" with loss of electrical power for any reason. I was not told about the required "self-diagnosis and a pull-away test to ensure its operability." The rider manual which I read after experiencing the "RESIDUAL BRAKING FUNCTION" states that "If the BMW Integral ABS develops a fault...you must apply CONSIDERABLY higher pressure to the brake levers in question in order to apply the brake levers in question in order to apply the brakes, and the lever travel is longer." It felt like there were no brakes at all and the lever was all the way to the grip. The salesman would not accept my attempt to cancel the contract. He told me to sell the bike on the internet. Now Triumph has pulled their line of motorcycles.
