  • Let me start with this. I own a late 2011 MacBook Pro with dedicated AMD 6750. This particular model is famous with it's GPU failure. As a matter of fact there is a petition against Apple signed by more than 20000 people and a lawsuit case against the company because of that. So my almost $1800 Apple product joined this big group. I was quoted at Apple store almost $700 for Logic board replacement, replacement done with refurbished logic board (thanks but NO thanks CrApple...) I brought my dead MacBook to Simeon and he was very familiar with the problem. He suggested another way to solve the problem, a lot less expensive and proven to work. Oh... before that he did excellent job fixing my poor attempt to remove the logic board myself, which resulted in tearing both power connectors of the cooling fans. So he soldered both, reflow the chip and my Mac was ready in less than 24 hours... running better then ever. Not only that but he saved me tons of money. I highly recommend Simeon to anyone who need help solving any types of computer or tablet issues, this guys is true professional... you wont regret a bot going to Computer Doctor BG.
