  • I visited Pollack Tempe Cinemas 3 days ago with my mother and we watched "San Andreas." Our experience was EXCELLENT. First of all, tickets are $2 on Tuesdays, and $3 all other days... The price alone is worth writing an excellent review. The lobby and theatre are well-kept and the lobby boasts some of my Mr. Pollack's beloved memorabilia; statues and signed photos of movie stars. Before the film begins, an impressive sequence plays which says, "Pollack Tempe Cinemas," in large gold letters, similar to that of the 20th Century Fox intro. The picture and sound of our movie was great, and did not have any issues. The seats actually recline, which is not common among other traditional movie theaters. The bottom line: Mr. Pollack did an INCREDIBLE job transforming this theatre into a true masterpiece. We will definitely be visiting soon! P.S.
