  • I was contacted by this company as a result of entering a quote request for a new AC system (Trane equipment) install on Home Advisor. I met with the owner to interview him for the job and received a written quote for services. Upon further research the following was uncovered. Mr. Worlock and his company inaccurately depicted the level of factory training and certifications they possessed with Trane manufacturing. The company represented themselves both, in the in-person interview, and in company marketing materials (including their web site) as a Trane Home Comfort Specialist, which was verified by a Trane manufacturing representative as FALSE. This designation is only provided to certified and appropriately trained companies as part of the Trane dealer network. The business did not have the training required for this designation and when questioned they only made excuses and owner said verbatim to me over the phone, "No Harm. No Foul." No remorse, no apologies, just empty excuses to deflect their unethical practice and misleading a consumer. The company's lack of integrity in advertising (violation of FTC Truth in Advertising and Lanham Act) and back pedaling on their price match guarantee even when presented with a valid, written competitor quote demonstrates the character of the company and ownership. This issue has been escalated to Trane management and Worlock Mechanical was required to remove the Trane Home Comfort Specialist designation from their website. I would strongly NOT recommend this business to others.
