When I first got to ATI I was excited because I was looking forward to learning a new trade. My first instructor that I had was named Ty and he was amazing. He taught the HVAC basics and the electrical Mods. Once I was done with the basics of HVAC with the refrigeration cycle and electrical though, it sorta just started going down hill from there. The school decided to start changing the school policies and certain instructors just seemed to not care about teaching or just kept us in class and just looked at PowerPoints or nothing at all. One instructor even spent 2 weeks (out of the 6 weeks per class) just working on the class syllabus. I could keep going and talk about the worn out tools or the unfinished lab or the lack of copper or supplies, but I won't. I wouldn't reccomend this school to anyone. If I could go back, I would choose NTI. it's less money, less time in school, and I also heard that that awesome and knowledgeable instructor Ty works there now.
