  • I went to the Farmers Market on the square in Painesville and wanted somewhere to sit, read and eat lunch. Car GPS says Perkins is a mile away! Lived here over a year and never knew that. It is tucked away on a very quiet part of Mentor Ave. Service is nice and friendly. Food would do the chain proud. In my last two visits we have had lemon blueberry pancakes, fish and shrimp and half a ham swiss sandwich w chicken noodle soup and chocolate French silk pie. Plus I took muffins home last week. Every bit of it was delish! I will say the broth in the soup was loose gelatin thick but it still tasted good! Highly recommend!
