  • My daughter plays clarinet, and her instrument was having some problems. We took it initially to Music and Arts on 52nd ave & Bell, and they wanted $160 just to look at, plus parts and labor. A family friend recommended Mr. Plumb from Plumb Perfect. Mr. Plumb works out of his home, is BBB afilliated, and we were able to get a Saturday appointment. He is a very pleasant gentleman, and his place was loaded with instruments from the local schools, so that right there told me he would be the right guy for the job. He spent several minutes looking at the instrument, quoted a fair estimate, and promised it within the week. On the following Tuesday, he called to tell me it was ready. I paid $125 for a complete overhaul, new parts, etc, and my daughter says it plays like it is brand new. I will use this place anytime and I highly recommend him for any instrument repair work.
