  • Downtown Summerlin is a beautiful place, however, the aggressive panhandlers are ruining it! You might as well just be on the Strip where people are begging everywhere. The last 3 times I have visited Downtown Summerlin I've been approached by people begging for money, today it was people with small children begging for money in the parking garage in front of Macy's, near Starbucks. It is frightening to be followed to your car, especially in a parking garage, and there is no security to be found! Last 2 times I was approached it was in front of stores. Security needs to get a handle on the beggars, people will certainly stop shopping at Downtown Summerlin if they are in fear for their safety.
