I have been going to different gyms for a while now simply because I enjoy different brands of equipment, different types of equipment and different atmospheres. This gym (and it seems as if all LA Fitnesses) seem to have an overbearing car sales pitch every time I go in to check one out. Look, I get you have to make money as a company, but I was treated poorly after I had let the rep know I was not going to be joining. Not only did he kind of laugh it off in a condescending demeanor, he then grabbed his manager (I think), who was extremely persistent. I told them I was still looking at different facilities as I needed a gym that could cater to my crazy hours. With this gym not being 24 hours it did turn me off. (Nothing the staff can control) however, I don't think a potential client should feel harassed or belittled if I make the decision to not join. 2 stars - they do have nice equipment, but that's something every gym will have. Learn how to treat your potential clients and I may reconsider
