  • Been here twice, and so far...my favorite restaurant in Madison. First time I went we went on a weekend night and it was extremely busy, with a long wait...but worth it. Sat up at the bar while we waited and kinda took in the atmosphere then. It is a pretty dark lit place, but I think it makes it more intimate. The crowd really ranges from children to elders...they bring in everyone. This visit I got one of their burgers and a bottled hard cider. The second time went in for lunch during the week, it was tremendously less busy than on a weekend night. We ordered the sweet potato appetizer with the jalapeño jam I believe it was. I ordered the BLT and a tallboy PBR and my cousin ordered the stuffed grilled cheese, we gave each other one half of the sandwiches so we could try both! They were fantastic! Both times service and staff are great! Always a go to when I'm in town! :)
