Front desk: Customer Service could use training in mannerisms, especially the young lady with the glasses. She easily gets annoyed and it shows.
Bathroom: Disgusting! Every time we had a lesson, the rim had "stuff" on it! I told the front desk & after 30 mins, no one had attended to clean it up! Yuck!
Teachers: My son didn't want to come back after his 2nd lesson. 1st instructor was a male. My son who is 4.5 years old, kept making the same mistake at least 4x. On the 4th try, it seemed as if the instructor became frustrated. My son went in the water AND the instructor let him bob up and down in the water; didn't rush to get him. Keep in mind, this is my son's second lesson. I stood up and rushed to my son. I was right there. Bad experience.
I also saw another instructor/ female: kid was crying, she grabbed him by one arm and dunked him in the water as he was crying. Strong personality for sure BUT I wouldn't want her to teach my son.
Ms. Shay/2nd instructor:
My son was switched to Ms. Shay. She gets 5 stars from me. Shay is very warm and patient. My son loves her.
One more lesson and we are done.
We WILL NOT BE RETURNING to Water Wings.
I'm from NorCal and used to YMCA. Unfortunately, there is no YMCA close to me. My daughter has been to YMCA multiple times for swimming & never once did I have any negative feelings about the instructors or organization.
