  • I woke up and realized I needed a cake ASAP. I just got back from out of town and figured I'd surprise my boyfriend with a belated birthday cake. I was rushing around like a mad woman attempting to find a decent bakery with pre-made cakes and I came across this place online. I didn't realize it was in La Place so it was a little difficult to find but once I did I was not disappointed! I walked in to this cute bakery where the lady behind the counter informed me that the sisters or friends/ owners - whoever - had been on the Food Network for their cupcakes so I was immediately interested. Luckily, they had pre-made cakes that were available to purchase. I got a 6' inch cake for I believe $55 dollars. It was quite pricey. I was also nervous that the beauty of the cake would outshine the taste. It was so elegant. It was blue and had these awesome flowers on it. I was also convinced that I needed cupcakes. I purchased one Red Velvet and one of a chocolate variety. They were both very moist and delicious. The cake was also great! I was surprised how good it was to be honest. The surprise was wonderful, the cake was wonderful, and we had left overs for three days. Worth the price for the decorating alone!! I will be back.
