Just don't understand the ratings here. Service was excellent. But food was just okay. Brisket and Baby Back Ribs were way overcooked. Brisket was like baby food consistency and tasteless without the sauce. NO smokes ring and no smokey flavor. Weird for a place that says that they smoke their meats on premises with mesquite wood. The grilled vegetables were basically raw with no seasoning. Mash potatoes were good. Ranch beans were good. My wife liked the cornbread. But overall was just okay food wise when considering the main attraction is the BBQ itself. Again service was awesome and she was tipped well for that and not the food. Ambiance is good but I tend to rate places on food and overall experience and the meat brought it down. Much better BBQ places around but perhaps just none in this area.
