  • I came to the Spectrum center to watch the Charlotte Hornets play the Cleveland Cavaliers. Overall, I was very pleased with the experience. We parked in the preferred parking lot near trade street for $20 and had zero issues exiting after the game.. This was great since we had to make the trek back to Greenville. Even though it was a busy game, we were able to get right in the building with no issues. Although the metal detectors are a bit annoying, I think they're there for the right reason. We were through them very quickly. Once past security I was very impressed by the decor and live entertainment! Not only were there pictures from past events and various works of art, but there were also flashing lights and signs everywhere supporting the hornets. There were also multiple greeters giving high 5s with foam hands, folks on stilts, and the honey bees spread out performing and chatting with visitors. It was a very fun atmosphere and got the audience very pumped up for the game. The restroom I went in on the first level only had 4 stalls, but on the second level they were much larger. I did not wait in a line once. There were several dining and drinking options available. We opted for drinks at the craft beer garden and pork nachos from Queen City Q. The craft beer garden had a good beer selection, and we got tall souvenir glasses filled with Hoppyum for $14 each (yes, we're those guys.) The pork nachos had tons of queso and fresh jalapeƱos on top.. They were very yummy and not too spicy. The game was great and very engaging. They did many activities to keep the audience involved.. Sibma Cam, T-shirt tosses, etc. Overall, it was really a great time. I would definitely come back for another event in the future.
