| - Every time I make a trip to Vegas, I make sure that I make a stop here. The first time I came here, I was in awe with all the stores and got lost and probably walked around in several circles before finding the stores I was looking for. Oh, they have maps, but that doesn't help me. I'm hopeless. /After my umpteenth time here, the novelty wore off. Anyway, they offer a AAA coupon booklet, so if you happen to have AAA, you might want to get the booklet, which is located at the information office. Don't know where that is? Just ask a tourist, they'll be able to help you.
Obviously, parking here blows, especially during the weekend. But if you come on a weekday, it still stinks, but not as much. You'll actually be able to find parking, provided that you get there early, that is. Or, you can be one of those annoying people who block traffic while waiting for a parking spot to open.
The food court is decent, with a few food options. The Starbucks, though, is always packed. It seems that tourists think Starbucks is synonymous with America, or something. There are a lot of stores to browse if time is not your enemy. Personally, I like going into Gap, Banana Republic, Van Heusen, J. Crew, Quiksilver, Adidas Store, Skechers, Nine West, Bass, L'Occitaine, and Crabtree and Evelyn. I am usually able to find something in these stores. As a tactic to get you to go into their store, there are always sales going on, although from my experience, the sales aren't really sales. Plus, I'm not in the mood to fight others for the sales merchandise.
So, in summary, this outlet is a good stop if you're taking a break from losing money, er, I mean gambling. If you're going to give your money away, you might as well get something in return for it. Just make sure that you get here early if you want to find a parking spot. Happy bargain hunting!
