I found out about this place based on the positive reviews so I assumed it would be a good place to check out. I'm the type of person who will go in when I need a quick adjustment and I'll be back when I need another one.
When it came time to paying it wasn't very clear that I was signing a 6 month contract. I guess I'm guilty of signing something without reading the fine print. It's one of those forms; initials here, here, and here. Well I apparently initialed the section where I'm signing into a 6 month contract! Had I known or had it been clear I was signing a 6 month contract I wouldn't have signed and just paid for the one visit.
A few months go by.. I had gone a total of 3 times while being charged $60/mo and recently lost my job so I'm trying to figure out a way to cut back expenses. In the mean time I called and was told the only way to cancel was to send an email and request a cancellation. So I did and I get a response back stating it had to be a change of events such as moving more than 50 miles away. Their sympathetic if you move far enough away where it is an inconvenience however not for someone who only went 3 times and lost their job.
At the end of the day these 3 visits cost me $360 or $120 per visit because I cannot cancel due to a change in my circumstances. Here's a lesson learned folks. Don't just sign your life away as it could cost you in the long run. If the company truly cared about their clients they would say I'm sorry you lost your job let's see about canceling the remaining 3 months especially since you've only gone 3 times in the past 3 months.
