This is not a resort that cares about providing excellent customer service. It's a mid-range resort only interested in providing sub-par customer service and shuffling people through their cattle operation. The check in experience was unnecessarily lengthy and the employees were rude.
I had reserved a Petite Suite. Upon arriving in my room I was surprised to see that it was nothing like what the pictures online provided. It had a sad, hospital style bathtub rather than the large jacuzzi tub indicated in the listing. I called the front desk and they indicated they needed to put me in a handicap accessible room due to availability (we not not require an accessible room). I asked for a refund to make the room comparable to a standard room since we were not getting a true petite suite with the jacuzzi tub, and they only offered me a $20/night discount. I declined and opted to wait until they could accommodate us in a true Petite Suite. But, I thought the way they handled the whole ordeal - NOT telling me that we were being put in an accessible room so that I might not notice and complain - was shady at best.
The room showed some wear. And the music from the pool could easily be heard in our room on the 16th floor.
The pool was loud and crowded.
Pros: Daybed rentals at the pool were reasonably priced at $65 for the day. The pizza restaurant on site was good and reasonably priced for a light lunch.
