  • I like Pub 1842. There's good food, good service- can't complain! I remember going to their grand opening 2 years ago or so, I was excited to check out Michael Mina's new pub. They brought around appetizers so we were able to try a few of their menu items. The duck spring rolls and lobster corn dogs were delicious. Not your typical pub food! Since then, I've been back to Pub 1842 quite a few times. I'm pretty simple when it comes to pub/bar food. For a starter, I would recommend their pretzel. Comes out freshly baked with a beer cheese dipping sauce. There's a poached egg and bacon bits in the cheese... Amazing! If you want something light, I would absolutely recommend the Avocado Kale Caesar Salad. Kale has a unique bitter taste which some people love/hate. I personally am a fan and think it's a great contrast to the Caesar dressing. You can add protein it if you like (I've added the garlic shrimp and the salmon before, I prefer the shrimp). If you want to go for a burger, I've tried the 1842 burger and it's a solid choice if you like truffle and mushrooms. I've tried the Double Smoked Bacon burger which is meaty and flavorful, with large pieces of bacon and smoked gouda on top of the patty. They have some unique burgers too, a Peanut Butter Crunch burger and a Korean BBQ Salmon burger. I haven't tried either of those yet but I'm sure I will at some point! Good pub-style food and the service hasn't disappointed yet. I'll be back again!
