  • I decided to go with A to Z flooring to redo all floors in my home in April 2017 after a recommendation from a friend. I should say that my friend had 1 room done by them and he was very pleased both in the service he received and the end result. I was not so fortunate. The 3rd party crew used by the company to do my flooring job was less than impressive. They broke a lamp and chipped some of my expensive furniture items and walls. moving it from room to room. When they finished, I marked over 100 spots that the grout work was missing grout for them to come and redo. They had to come back twice. The job supervisor didn't make it to the final grout work because he went to Disneyland and his workers spoke no English. During the job I called A to Z's office and trying to get ahold of Sam was most difficult as his mailbox was always full. I could only reach him through asking the job supervisor to call him. I even had to call him to ask him to cash my deposit check which was in limbo for a couple of weeks. Sam did not follow up with me ever to find out if I was happy with the results/ only asking when I called him asking him to cash my original deposit check. The end result; my floors look great but it wasn't painless. In addition to the damage done while in my home, they did not secure my toilets correctly resulting in plumbing damage. So I had to pay a different contractor to finish some of the minor grout issues not completed as well as a plumber to fix my toilets. The workers also dumped all their grout residue in an area where I have decorative outdoor rock turning it a grey washed out color, so I had to replace that as well. I could not in good conscience recommend this company and they showed me clearly they could care less about my business. And on a final note, Chris is their office was a real jerk, offended by any basic question one would ask about flooring.
