Last week, I scheduled the afternoon off of work to get my hair done at Taglio Salon. When I walked into the salon just before my scheduled appointment time (that I had made 1 month prior) the receptionist could not find my appointment and then went into a panic. When I asked to speak to the owner, I was told that he left for the day. (I also should mention that I have been a customer at Taglio for 8 years and these sudden cancellations have happened to me several times in the past couple of years)...Next, an employee walked up to me who has told me she is the manager and said "Sorry you should know better by now about scheduling problems". In the meanwhile, I see the owner of Taglio walking around the back of the salon in a daze doing nothing. When I pointed this out to the 'manager' she said "the owner is too busy to speak to you as he was on a phone call". She then asked me for my phone number so the owner could call me....Well, the owner did not call me however another manager did call. I explained the entire situation to her. She said the girl that told me she is a manager is not a manager then proceeded to snidely apologize to me while making several excuses as to why it was ok that everything happened the way it did...Obviously, the current management is overwhelmed with the day to day operations of how to run a successful business and because of it customer service No longer exists at Taglio. The manager is failing the ownership and hopefully the owner can solve these issues before it's too late. Taglio used to be a good salon but because of the lack of quality of how this salon is ran, Taglios reputation will ultimately suffer. If they continue down this path. it is just a matter of time before Taglio becomes the next failure in the salon industry. There are many other salons in a 10 mile radius of Taglio (tons of competition) who are much more in tune with their customers and customer service. Again, if this was the 1st time this happened to me then it wouldn't be a big deal
