  • So you have had a long day/week/month and can't seem to turn your brain off, then you have found the right place. My husband and I wanted to try Go Float Yourself for a while now and I'm glad we finally did. Don't feel stressed about trying something new, it's easy and relaxing. You come in and are greeted by warm moist air that feels much like a tropical vacation. You will watch a short video on what you can expect, and then you are shown to your room. (tip: Make sure you go to the bathroom first, your experience can be ruined if all you can think of is how badly you have to pee) There is a shower in every room so you can be fresh and clean before entering your pod. Once clean, you will go into your pod. Feel free to leave the door open if you are nervous about space. My husband is claustrophobic and he had no issues with closing the door, so don't feel disheartened. The air and water temperature are set to body temp, that way you are not distracted at all. You can adjust the light color, or turn it off completely (I chose the latter). You will find it very easy to float. It feels so great letting all the pressure go, just taking your mind and body to a different place. After 60 minutes, the lights/music will come back on to wake you out of your zen like state. You will shower again to remove all the salt and start fresh. Once you are out of your room, go enjoy some tea and cookies. I will be honest, I felt high the rest of the day. I loved it. Try something new and see what you think!
