This was my very first time trying this style of pizza. What I liked about it was that it was simple, light, and not greasy like some pizzas can be. The cheese on the pizza was superb, and the chewiness of it went perfectly well with the rather flat, thin dough. That was the part I didn't like too much about my pizza; the pizza dough was very bland and tasted a bit like what I would imagine what hardtack would taste like. I suppose it contributes to the simplicity and lightness of the pizza; nevertheless, it lacked flavour, save for the burnt black bits at the edge. I'm glad the cheese and the toppings were good enough that this didn't bother me too much.
I would've given this restaurant three stars if I hadn't ordered dessert. The dessert menu had many appealing choices, but I had no trouble settling on the Affogato (I am an espresso enthusiast.) I chose chocolate gelato to go with the espresso. The gelato was creamy and smooth, just as I would expect out of anything labelled "gelato." It was a delicious dessert for a mocha-lover like me. The tiramisu was also good; the best part about it was that it wasn't too sweet, which seems to be a common flaw in many tiramisus.
The service was just fine; everyone was attentive and fast, and I had a good experience here.
