  • There are three floral shops all right next to each other at Ave and Dav and all three are fantastic! They have the widest selection of flowers and the best prices in the city. It's the freshest spot too. All three are owned in the same family and run by, I think sisters, but they might be cousins. In any case, people stop in front on Avenue to jump out and grab their flowers from all over the city. It's a real community spot. My mother used to stop there on her way back from the brunch spot up the street (no longer there) when I was in high school, and now she stops on her way home from work. Everyone is a regular. And the smell! Damn girl, nothing smells fresher in the city.
