| - Ummm, I had a good time, but no one I was with liked it. It was kind of HS drama Club acting ability, script was not the best, lots of overacting and an overabundance of sexual innuendo. I tried to get into it and take it for what it was, so I had a good time. There was a table nearby, with some drinking folks, that had a really gooood time.
Had the vegetarian meal. Rotini with spinach and artichoke. Not bad. Everyone else had chicken, mashed potatoes, zucchini. Bread was on table. Salad came out first. Skip dessert. It was a dry spongy brownie and iced cookie. Cookie was good, though.
Ending was kind of anticlimactic. I guess I was expecting more clues. I could deal with the acting such as it was. We saw Clue. Mr. Green cracked me up; I wish I took the flyer with the actors' names so I could write to him individually. He made me laugh. Think "just jack", Will and Grace fans. Mr. Bodee guy was funny, too. Others weren't bad, just not the highlights for me.
As for the "who did it"..... It was really obvious so I was hoping for a twist at the end. There was none. I plan to go again to see a different rendition of the same show. Also would like to see a different production.
All in all, I had a great time. I could see why the people I was with didn't, but you have to put some effort in, too, to participate and have fun. It was a different thing to do for a Saturday night.
Main office, if you read the review, please pass on kudos to Mr. Green for making me laugh.
