  • Apparently there are at least four floor plans for the Lions of Food and this is the other "classic" design. Biggest difference is that wine is with beer on the other end of the store as you are heading to the checkout instead of on your left going from produce to meats. That being said the property is well kept and tidy throughout. The doors open and close as expected and the roof-windows-walls keep the weather outside where it belongs while the indoor climate stays nicely controlled. Deli case is well stocked with slice to order meats and cheese and there's plenty of packaged goods around the corner if you want to go that route. Produce selections are sufficient for my culinary skills (and occasional forays into healthy snacking) with organic options available for many items. Plenty of meat and fish available cold or frozen and you have some latitude in GMO-ness, organicity, and pasturage. The help is helpful and friendly; shelves well stocked and tidy; cases and coolers are clean. The cashiers step up to help unload your shopping cart and remind you to thing your card and save some cash. Not much to complain about here.
