I went to AutoZone today after initially going to the dealership a few days before.
Of course what I thought was wrong wasn't covered under whats left of my warranty (power train).
I was greeted by Michael C, I explained what my car was doing he did a systems check and said it was my alternator.
The dealership said I needed a
new battery $200.00
alternator $400.00
labor $400.00
Then I'm sure I would have been taxed on that $1,000.00 bill as well and whatever else they would have said I needed.
Michael C. at AutoZone showed me my battery was reading good, I didn't need a battery.
Saved $200.00, they ordered the alternator it was $144.00 saved $266.00, I saved the $400.00 in labor since I have three sons and a son in-law who are all willing to step up and put it in.
Even Michael C. offered to help me before he knew I had adult sons, his customer service was above and beyond. I appreciated him taking the time to explain everything to me and show me what exactly it was that he was explaining.
He could have just sold me what I asked for and sent me on my way but he didn't, I went in for a battery.
Now issue resolved thanks to Michael C, and I didn't waste money at the dealership getting something I didn't need yet.
If you live in this area and visit this AutoZone see Michael C. He works until 9:00 pm and he goes above and beyond for the customer.
And he saved me $866.00 who doesn't love to save that much money! Thank you so much Michael C!
